What a Great Day.

Hey Everyone,
Mary and I had a great day and we wanted to share the pictures with everyone.

First, we went to Roloff Farm this morning in Hillsboro, OR to pick out a pumpkin. For those of you not familar with Roloff Farm, it is the home of the Roloff family, the stars of TLC's "Little People, Big World." They were filming for the new season while we were there, so if any of you watch it, you may spot Mary and me. For more pictures of our day, go to this album: ROLOFF PUMPKIN CARVING.

Later that night we started carving our pumpkin.

In honor of the Spartan's sixth victory today against Northwestern, we decided to go with this...

And here is the Spartan in green...

Go Spartans! 6 -1 record, undefeated in the Big Ten!

After the pumpkin was gutted and carved, we also roasted the pumpkin seeds and baked home-made pumpkin muffins. They are delicious.

Overall, it was a great day. Tomorrow we are going to watch our friends, Brett and Jessica, compete in a Portland cyclocross race. Again, if you want to see more photos, go here: ROLOFF PUMPKIN CARVING. So I hope all is well, and we enjoy hearing from all of you, so LEAVE COMMENTS!

- Ryan

Hey Ryan & Mary,

I love all the pictures; it looks like you guys have had lots of fun trips over the last two months! I hope that Jonah and I can come visit sometime soon - maybe next summer! I've been wanting to take a road trip so maybe we can go out west. :) Miss you!

Love Erin

I'll be looking for you guys on television...what a neat experience to go to the Roloff farm! Great job with the pumpkin carving; I never quite got the hang of that! We've been keeping busy with marching band season. Reeths-Puffer continues to place first in marching, music, and overall effect. It's been fun watching them progress throughout the season. I hope you guys have a fun Halloween in Oregon! Miss you, Christy

Hey Ryan and Mary, First off thanks so much for your calls from Roloff Farms, I was so happy to hear from you and sorry we got cut off, We were on our way to Petosky for a surprise party and when you called the second time, we were way out in the boonies at this house and the call got cut off! The pumpkin looks great and I'm impressed that you not only roasted the seeds (something Uncle Pat has done for years) but went a step further and actually made muffins!!!! Looks like you are settling in to your new lives and I know that everything will work out for you! Thanks again for the call and GO STATE!! Much Love, Aunt Mary
